Feel like I’m losing my mind

Drenched in remorse I stand

Your gaze sets me puzzled

Another hand I’d never wanna let go

Did it just let me go?

You question your trust in me

As I phase into your eyes

Eyes that radiate loneliness

Am I at fault for what I did

Or what I didn’t?

You claim I’m heartless

That I’m dead inside

Cuz that was just a shield I put on myself

But yes I accept I’m guilty of that

A life I’ve lived surrounded in lies

Never did I mean any harm

But simply your smile

And in the end,

It’s the truth that had me denied

Sometimes things will be difficult

Won’t always be a breath of fresh air

But I love you more than life in itself

That's why these words I declare

You hide behind your feelings

and keep the truth locked away,

but there is so much said

a place for your feelings to hide,

yet I can hear the love in your voice
